Since 2023 I've worked across research, teaching, and public outreach on one question: how does generative AI change learning? This page collects the different threads of that work — a forthcoming book, a research article, a course for teachers, a blog, and a podcast.

Book

Lære med KI (forthcoming, Universitetsforlaget)

Together with Andreas D. Haraldsrud, I'm writing a Norwegian-language book on AI and learning, aimed at teachers. It draws on cognitive learning psychology — cognitive load, scaffolding, metacognition — to give a grounded, classroom-relevant account of what generative AI changes.

Research

Teaching teachers

Profag KI-kurs

Together with Andreas Haraldsrud at KURT (UiO), I developed a four-part course for teachers. It covers generative AI fundamentals, teaching activities and differentiation, programming with AI, and assessment. I've run it each semester since 2025, with strong participant feedback on its classroom relevance.

Blog

LæreMedKI.no

In this blog, I write in Norwegian about AI and learning — for teachers, in plain language.

Podcast

KIosk

In this podcast, I talk to teachers who have actually tried something with AI in their own classroom — what worked, what didn't, and what they'd do differently.
